ITEC is an ISTE affiliate who promotes the use of technology in education by demonstrating to its members, other educators and the public developments in the use of educational technology and how its use supports teaching and learning. The ITEC Conference is October 11-13, 2015. It will be held at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, IA. The conference is open to all educators and administrators in Iowa and beyond.

Blended learning's benefits are multifaceted. Blended learning's effect on Students, Teachers, Parents and Co-Teachers will be discussed.

Through research and trial and error, Paul Mugan has produced a blended biology classroom. He has been teaching with this blended format since 2012. Join him as he details the many benefits he and his learners have enjoyed.

2016-17 will be my 26th year as a secondary science teacher. I'm a '91 Wartburg College grad. I completed a Masters in '08 through University of Wisconsin Stout's online program and it has influenced my teaching profoundly! Since then, I have been focused on Blended Learning and have enjoyed showing others how to teach with a Blended format throughout Iowa. Let's learn together!
