ITEC is an ISTE affiliate who promotes the use of technology in education by demonstrating to its members, other educators and the public developments in the use of educational technology and how its use supports teaching and learning. The ITEC Conference is October 11-13, 2015. It will be held at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, IA. The conference is open to all educators and administrators in Iowa and beyond.

What does personalized learning look like? How can more voice & choice be integrated in the classrooms? How can students interests and passions be utilized in their learning? In the diverse and ever-changing world of education, the term "personalized learning" seems to be everywhere, though it seems like there are various interpretations of personalized learning. Join me for an engaging, discussion-oriented session where we begin to build common understanding by having educators consider various entry points to begin personalizing the learning for their students.
