2016 ITEC has ended
ITEC is an ISTE affiliate who promotes the use of technology in education by demonstrating to its members, other educators and the public developments in the use of educational technology and how its use supports teaching and learning. The ITEC Conference is October 11-13, 2015. It will be held at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, IA. The conference is open to all educators and administrators in Iowa and beyond.

In our world today, a resume and a cover letter aren’t going to support our students to create opportunities. To adequately prepare students for the world that they live in, it is important that we use the opportunities that are in front of us and help students develop a network to connect with others, a digital portfolio that shows their learning and growth, as well as an About.Me page to bring all of these things together. In this presentation, we will look at what these could look like and how we could implement this at the K-12 level. bit.do/3Things
