Gamifying Your Classroom with GooseChase
Research shows that gamified learning experiences increase a student's motivation to learn while also increasing their assessment scores. But how do you actually gamify learning? In thisintroductory workshop you’ll create, experience, and share in gamified learning experiences using GooseChase a web and mobile platform designed to make it insanely easy to create andexecute competitive scavenger hunts with students.

Bring your laptop/tablet and an iPhone/Android device and you’ll leave with a basic understanding of gamification, your first classroom hunt ready to go, and a ton of resources to help you build your next hunt.

Virtual Reality in the Classroom
Imagine the possibilities. You are teaching children about dinosaurs and suddenly with the help of a VR headset, there is a life sized one in front of their eyes. Your kids can dissect frogs without the smell of formaldehyde or learn about Africa by riding a canoe through a small village. The possibilities are endless and the impact on education beyond imagine. In this session we will discuss this emerging technology and give a brief demonstration.

Teaching in Ways You’ve Always Imagined
As a teacher, you inspire the next generation of leaders. You make complex ideas easy to understand. And you’re always looking for new ways to engage your students. In this session, we’ll explore Classroom, the app that turns your iPad into a powerful teaching assistant, helping a teacher guide students through a lesson, see their progress, and keep them on track. Along with Classroom, we’ll explore the Apple Teacher program to help you get the most from our products, and celebrate the work you do every day along with other helpful teaching resources.
